The view looking to the north from our Point this morning is much less gold and ‘way more pink than the view to the east. But both are awesome.
The reflection of the clouds colours on the smooth calm water, the patterns of the clouds, the quiet broken only with the sounds of eagles calling, seals and otters splashing— a fine beginning to the day.
Many people enjoy the beach, the sand and the warm water in the little bay by our place. But not many leave behind such gorgeous pieces of temporary beach art. This one at the bottom of our stairs was a delight to discover!
Thank you to whoever the creative soul was (with strong arms!) who put this piece together, and left it for us to enjoy.
Walking along the path to the beach, surrounded by a tangle of tall dried grasses, the grey twisted limbs of Ocean Spray and a tangle of bare wild rose canes, I was struck by the pattern and colour! Exquisite, wild and unexpected beauty, the designs, patterns and artistry. On both sides, all around.
With this image, the deeper I look, the more intriguing the patterns. And yet, I could have simply walked on past, thinking the only thing was to get to the beach at the end of the path…
